What does this policy cover?

AI Answer Engine is published by AI Intelligence International. You can use every calculator on this site without an account, and the numbers you type stay in your browser. The site is funded by advertising, and our advertising partners — principally Google — do set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser. This policy explains both halves of that picture and how to opt out of personalised advertising.

Do you need an account to use the tools?

There is no login, no registration and no paywall. We never ask for your name, address, phone number, employer or payment details to use a tool. The only time you volunteer personal information is if you choose to email us or use the contact form, and then we only receive what you write in that message.

What happens to what you type into a calculator?

Job titles, salaries, hourly rates, subscription costs, essay topics, code snippets and every other input you type run through JavaScript in your own browser. Those values are not transmitted to our servers, not written to a database, and not visible to us. Close or reload the tab and they are gone unless a tool explicitly says it saves a preference in your browser’s local storage — in which case that data stays on your device and you can clear it from your browser settings.

What log and analytics data is collected?

Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site running, diagnose errors and detect abuse. We do not attempt to combine them with other information to identify an individual.

We may also use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are popular and where people leave. Any such analytics is used at the page level, not the person level.

Which cookies are used for advertising?

This site displays advertisements supplied by Google AdSense. To do that, Google and its partners place cookies or read device identifiers in your browser.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or Your Online Choices in the EU.
  • Blocking cookies in your browser settings, or using a content blocker, does not stop you from using any tool on this site. Every calculator works with advertising disabled.

Google’s own handling of data is described in the How Google uses information from sites that use its services page.

What are your rights under GDPR and UK GDPR?

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, export or erase personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to complain to your national data protection authority. In practice we hold almost nothing: unless you have emailed us, there is no record tied to you.

Where personalised advertising requires consent in your region, a consent notice from our advertising partner is shown before non-essential cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the same notice.

What are your rights under CCPA and CPRA?

California residents may request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected, request deletion, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of personalised ads, use the Google Ads Settings link above or email us with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”.

Is this site intended for children?

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

How is data secured and how long is it kept?

The site is served over HTTPS. Because we do not operate user accounts or store calculator inputs, there is no personal database to breach. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to answer your question and are then deleted. Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.

How will you know if this policy changes?

When this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page. Material changes — for example adding a new advertising partner or an analytics provider that identifies users — will be described here before they take effect.

How do you contact us about privacy?

Questions, requests or complaints about privacy can be sent to support@aianswerengine.app or through the contact page. See also our terms of use and disclaimer.

What personal data does this site collect?

Only what you deliberately provide: an email address for a download or an audit report, and the details you type into the contact form. Everything typed into a calculator stays in your browser.

Which cookies are used and why?

Advertising cookies from Google AdSense support the free tools, and analytics cookies tell us which pages are used. Neither is required to use a calculator, and both can be blocked in your browser.

How do I have my data deleted?

Email support@aianswerengine.app from the address concerned and ask for deletion. Stored email addresses and any audit reports linked to them are removed, normally within a few days.
